The K5 Story
K5 Communications was founded by Ky Thomas, who identified an unmet need in the market for a communications provider who prioritised friendliness, honesty, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Drawing from a wealth of experience in the telecommunications sector, Ky saw an opportunity. Using his expertise and experience, he began providing customers with a transparent telecoms experience. His deep understanding of the industry laid the foundation for the K5 values and its mission to deliver top-tier customer service.
Not long after, Sam Thomas joined the enterprise as Chief Executive Officer, dedicated to realising the company’s visionary goals and ensuring its continued success. Sam combines extensive experience in the telecommunications field with a legal background, ensuring that K5 remains compliant and keeps a pulse on crucial regulatory developments. Her strategic foresight ensures that K5 remains at the forefront of the telecoms industry, adapting and thriving in an ever-changing landscape, and upholding the K5 values.
Meet Our Senior Team
Sam Myatt
Head of Operations
Sam Myatt has lent his voice to over 5000 businesses’ On-Hold Marketing and Welcome Attendant messages, and now as our Head of Operations, Sam orchestrates the execution of our operational procedures from Point of Sale to Completion. He supervises our engineering, provisioning, and billing teams, overseeing the customer journey at every interaction. With 16 years’ experience in the field, we’re fortunate to have Sam’s insights and expertise here at K5.
Abi McPheat
Office Manager
At our K5 headquarters, Office Manager Abi McPheat orchestrates and handles the flow of our daily operations. With meticulous attention to detail, she ensures that every K5 team member is equipped for a productive and comfortable day at the office. Abi’s organisational skills and proactive approach make her an essential part of the team, and she consistently helps with efficiency across the business. Abi also oversees our Quality and Administration department, ensuring we meet the highest standards and that our sales diaries operate with precision and reliability.
